I am a tutor located in Park Ridge, New Jersey. I believe that developing strong study skills early on is the key to success. This begins with a solid foundation, and a positive attitude towards learning. Always the consummate student, my education and work has given me an appreciation for the meaning and value of one-on-one learning. In high school, I was class Salutatorian and Distinguished Honor Roll student. The study habits I built then were invaluable to me as I entered college. I hold a degree in Psychology from Cornell University, and I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Nutrition and Food Science. My success in academics has relied heavily on my writing and speaking abilities, reading comprehension, and my ability to plan and manage my time accordingly. I excel at tutoring in a variety of subjects, but I most enjoy teaching others about establishing positive study habits, SAT and ACT test preparation, Math, Writing, Reading, and Public Speaking. I apply many of the same ideals to my academic pursuits as well as pursuits in my personal life. When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy singing, writing songs, musical theater, photography, and personal wellness.
